A meeting is planned for 8pm on Friday 17th October in the Halling Community Centre to investigate the possibility of creating a Station Adoption group to help maintain and publicise Halling Station and the rail services on the line. A community rail partnership (Medway Valley Line CRP, part of Kent Community Rail Partnership) can help and advise the group and help establish links with the Rail Industry and how to obtain grants to fund works at the station.
The Halling Parish Council is keen on getting the station buildings open for community use and improvements to the station environment.
