We are a community organization dedicated to sharing information about plants and good gardening practices. Membership is open to the public and fees are £3 per year. We hold a Spring and Autumn Flower and Vegetable Show at Halling Jubilee Hall. Small entry and exhibit fees charged. Prizes are awarded! We also have guest speakers throughout the year share their gardening knowledge and make visits to local public as well as members' gardens. Find us on Facebook as Halling Garden Society!!

Historical Society -- Evening meetings are normally 7.30pm, in the Jubilee Hall, Browndens Road, Upper Halling, ME2 1JH, Refreshments and raffle at meetings. Annual membership: £12. Youth Club -- Community Centre, Lower Halling phone 07783 574695. Open on Fridays 6.00 pm to 7-30pm in the Community Centre for 8 to 11 year olds and 11.5 to 15 years old.
HALARA -- Carole Nunn, Hon. Secretary phone 01634 716049. Over 50s most welcome, only £15.00 per year. Our activities include short mat bowls, outings, pub lunches, etc.
The third Monday of the month - Ten Pin Bowling from 10am at the Hollywood Bowl.
Wednesday evenings - Short Mat Bowls at the Community Centre, from 7pm - 9pm.
Thursday mornings - Craft Session at the Community Centre, from 9.30am - 11am.
Thursday mornings - Coffee Morning with some homemade items, from 10am - 11am.
Thursday afternoon - Short Mat Bowls at the Community Centre, from 2pm - 4pm.
The first three Fridays of the month - Water Colour Painting at the Jubilee Hall, from 2pm - 4pm. All levels of experience welcome from beginners upwards.
The last Friday of the month is the Members Meeting at the Jubilee Hall, from 2pm - 4pm.
There are at least two outings a year, Theatre Trips, Cream Tea, Fish & Chip Lunch and many more events in the pipeline. Annual Charity Quiz or Race Night
