After delays in obtaining the certificate and making arrangements to hand over to Barry, this was presented to him recently by parish councillor George Wenham.

Barry was nominated for his dedication to Halling over many years and he was also a parish councillor in the past, but continued to care for the parish after standing down.

It is almost time to start thinking who should be nominated for 2025.

There are also several vacancies for parish councillors.
